If you're over 20 and have some interest in playing computer games, the words “Atari”, “Commodore” and “Nintendo” won't conjure up images of perfectly rendered 3D images on a 30 inch HDTV. No, you're probably thinking of sitting in front of your parents' only TV saying “just one more go” while trying to help a chunky approximation of a short Italian bloke rescue the princess (again!). If you're a little older then your TV was probably black and white, and the graphics even worse. Strangely enough, the game play was just as fun even if your C64 owning friends said your Spectrum was rubbish...
Fancy re-living the time of gaming where “high resolution graphics” meant having more than eight colours? Then come down to The Priory on Saturday 15th September for RetroFaire.
